Crap post. Freight costs more than the item.
How do they make any money with free shipping? Can't be cheap?
This item isn’t free shipping. It’s $$$$ freight shipping. Enter your zip code on the product page to calculate it. After the base freight, it costs extra for them to unload it off the truck if you don’t have your own forklift.
I don't need a forklift to lift 97lbs.. Do you?

I just wanted to counter some of the negative comments from the last time this was posted. I'm in the midwest. For curbside freight delivery it says $75 and another $75 to receive the white glove delivery to my door. So the way I see it, for $125 I can own a pretty kick ass military surplus barrel and something tells me they are high quality. It was used to ship missle parts, so it's probably air and water tight. So rather than see that the freight charge as more than the product, assume it's priced to compensate for such. So if my estimated freight were closer to a previous comment, $140, then this would be probably become less worth it for me. To the forklift comment, it's a barrel, if you tip it on it's side you can roll it. If you can't lift it or roll it and have no help, worse case scenario you leave it and turn it into a mailbox, or book exchange, or back into missle part storage. Depends what you're into I suppose.
