I say, don't dick around with just tritium rear sights. If you are going with only one sight that will light up, make it the front sight. Yes, I know Beretta 92s have sights that are machined into the slide, for the most part anyway, so that is not an easy fix here. I just don't think tritium rears by themselves are worth anything.

Agree completely, a lot of 92's have to have their front sight drilled out.. it can be done but usually it's done by Trijicon.. A rear sight alone is worthless.

My best advise I could give anyone in regard to buying a Tritium product is simple.

Buy from a merchant with a good reputation and more importantly, buy from a high volume dealer. Since Tritium has a limited life span due to decay, chances are if you buy from an unknown entity on Amazon or Ebay, there is a very good likelihood that the product may not be fresh or recently manufactured.

Lots of scumbag merchants like Botach, that will sell you a depleted Tritium product with no hesitation at all.
