Unlike many rimfire pistols, the TX22 Compact is equipped with serious carry features. The optics-ready slide allows you to mount today’s micro red dots for lightning-fast target acquisition, while the generous (5) 13-round magazines included keep you shooting longer with fewer reloads. Taurus’ ergonomic grip contouring and a crisp single-action trigger deliver centerfire-style handling, giving EDC shooters a true training analog in rimfire form.

This exclusive package comes equipped with the Viridian RFX 11 Green Dot Reflex Sight, adding speed and precision to your shooting. Weighing just 0.56 oz, this ultra-light optic was engineered for optics-cut pistols and features a Shield RMSc footprint for wide compatibility. Its 16mm x 22mm multi-coated glass lens provides unlimited eye relief and a crisp 3 MOA green dot, powered by INSTANT-ON technology and automatic brightness control. With an incredible 30,000-hour runtime on a single CR2032 battery and a rugged IPX4-rated thermomolded polymer housing, the RFX 11 is built for real-world reliability.

Damn this is a good deal. That optic is around $150-$175 by itself. Too it off with all the mags this is well worth the price. The Taurus tx22 is by far one of the best .22 pistols available. They found the sweet spot on how to get a modern .22 pistol to run reliably. Alot of the similar classes offerings all have major reliability issues. For the price, this is a no brainer of your in the market for a . 22 caliber semi auto pistol for carry, home defense or range days.

I love this pistol too. So much fun to shoot. The Viridian RFX11 that comes with it in some packages is just ok. It can't handle the outdoors full sunlight of my area - the green dot disappears and there are no brightness adjustments. It works fine indoors though and even on slightly cloudy days outdoors. I've looked into raised sights to co-witness but the upgrade path is not straightforward.
