  • My gosh. I can't believe it. I like it better than my Glock 26 for conceal carry. Bought an amberide Kydex holster on Amazon for $18. Love the thing. I hate safeties but I'm training with it. Just like my Glocks it eats everything dirty rusty metal hollow points. Everything. Accurate. Low recoil. Very light. I list 109 lbs and 6 surgeries over 4 months in the hospital. I can't carry my heavy pistols. I carry one mag in my pocket as backup. Good trigger. Great curve at the bottom of the magazine. Racks easier than ALL my pistols. Loading was tough. Now it's fine. Just took 2 weeks of loaded mags. 5 stars. I can't believe it. I want to get the safety removed and glued in place. But it is a good positive safety. $200. Buy it. If you hate it sell it for $250 lol. Don't think I'm changing anything on it. The grip is perfect. Almost like an aftermarket coating. Never adjusted the sights. I hear no more G2 soon. G3 only $50 more. I had so many people tell me they carried one I had to get one. Glad I did.

wait, wut? taurus no longer has alife time warranty?.. Those bastards!.. when did this happen?

It's a little disturbing when a company does away with the warranty.

I don't believe they've done away with it. Word is the Taurus pistols not covered by the lifetime warranty are covered by a 1 year warranty. That's the same as the 1 year warranty offered by Glock, Colt, S&W and others.

From the Taurus website: "The Taurus Unlimited Lifetime Repair Policy extends to all Taurus USA firearm models in production prior to January 1, 2017."

That leads me to believe it means the date the model first went into production, not the date the actual gun was made. If that's so the G2 Millennium would have a lifetime warranty, but the newer G2c would not. So it's a mystery as to what the actual warranty is on a G2c from looking at the website. I've heard it only has a 1 year warranty, which is not any different than Glock and many other manufacturers, but haven't seen it officially confirmed. Someone please correct me if they know that to be wrong.

I've got the G2 Millennium and love it. The only difference is the G2C doesn't have the keyed locking system of the Millennium and no lifetime warranty, again, assuming it went into production after to the above date.

If you look on the Taurus website it lists both pistols separately as though they are both currently being produced. The listing for the G2c says "new", but it doesn't appear if you download the 2018 PDF catalog.

Wow, I wouldn't mind that so much but getting parts for Taurus guns is difficult, the best you can do is find used ones on GB or Ebay from guns that was either parted or destroyed.

Definatley a step back for Taurus, their CS had a bad rep but the warranty is the one thing they had going for them.

Gonna find it hard to defend them to the haters now.. And frankly gonna have to think long and hard about buying any more Taurus firearms.. then again the prices are good and unless you get a lemon most won't ever shoot one out..

    But still.. bad move Taurus.

If I didn't already own a Millennium G2 I would jump on this for $179.99 shipped. There are a metric-ton of good reviews for the Millennium G2 and the G2C from actual owners. Many of the haters just dislike Taurus or are remembering the problems with the first generation PT111 guns, which were substantial and nothing Taurus should be forgiven for overnight. Very few actual owners of the gen 2 pistols are complaining, though. It may only come with a one year warranty but that's pretty common for many pistol manufacturers.

Of course, paying another $100-150 for a Ruger Security 9, Walther CCP or S&W SD9 isn't a bad option either. I chose the Taurus because it's compact but not tiny, has an aggressively textured grip that feels awesome in my hand, came with two magazines standard and the 12+1 capacity. That's hard to beat for less than $180 shipped.

To each his own, though. We're all adults and capable of deciding which pistol(s) at which price point we want. It's a gun, I'm not marrying it.

These guns are easily the best entry level firearms on the market. You will need to spend another 100 dollars to get a CZ clone style firearm before you can get better. Those are also really hard to find, the PT111 are everywhere.

I agree I bought one for the price but loved it so much I got another. Paid 170 shipped for both, they might go back on sale for that price but honestly they are worth every penny of $220. The trigger reset is awesome but it takes some getting used to if you're used to shooting an m+p.
