  • My gosh. I can't believe it. I like it better than my Glock 26 for conceal carry. Bought an amberide Kydex holster on Amazon for $18. Love the thing. I hate safeties but I'm training with it. Just like my Glocks it eats everything dirty rusty metal hollow points. Everything. Accurate. Low recoil. Very light. I list 109 lbs and 6 surgeries over 4 months in the hospital. I can't carry my heavy pistols. I carry one mag in my pocket as backup. Good trigger. Great curve at the bottom of the magazine. Racks easier than ALL my pistols. Loading was tough. Now it's fine. Just took 2 weeks of loaded mags. 5 stars. I can't believe it. I want to get the safety removed and glued in place. But it is a good positive safety. $200. Buy it. If you hate it sell it for $250 lol. Don't think I'm changing anything on it. The grip is perfect. Almost like an aftermarket coating. Never adjusted the sights. I hear no more G2 soon. G3 only $50 more. I had so many people tell me they carried one I had to get one. Glad I did.

    "commitment to repair *selected* Taurus firearm models FREE OF CHARGE for the lifetime of the firearm"

    That means they will pick & choose which models to guarantee. Question is, will they tell us?

    Of course, they will tell you. When you go to repair your gun, they will say NOPE! Not on our list. That keeps their repair lines freed up...or money in their pocket because you now have to pay for a repair that they used to cover. Seems they need to tell us exactly what is and is not covered. None of this maybe BS.

    So it is pretty 'limited'. Sounds to me like they are trying to dodge repairing items they should be responsible for.

    I posted exactly what their repair policy is. If it is too limited for you then buy a brand with a better policy. Nobody is dodging anything, as far as I can see. Looks to be spelled out clearly in English. Need it translated to a different language? Google does that for free.

    There is only one reason they would limit their repair policies. Too many guns breaking and they can't afford to repair 'their' mistakes. You bet your ass I will take into consideration of what you said and not but Taurus in the future. There are too many companies that have a much better reputation than Taurus (which doesn't take much) to choose from. If Hi-Point can have an unbeatable repair policy, then Taurus could do the same.

    Doesn't the mighty Glock only have a one year warranty?

    I'm sure that was a rhetorical question, but...

    https://us.glock.com/customer-service/glock-warranty...

    "LIMITED ONE-YEAR OPERATIONAL WARRANTY

    Subject to terms, conditions and limitations outlined below, GLOCK, Inc. guarantees its pistols against defects in materials and workmanship that adversely affect their operation for a period of one (1) year from the date of their original purchase by the initial consumer. This warranty is valid only for pistols purchased and used in the United States of America, its territories and possessions and Puerto Rico.

    This warranty only becomes effective if activated by the original consumer purchaser within 30 days of the purchase date, by completing and returning the warranty card included with your GLOCK pistol. GLOCK, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept proof of purchase in lieu of a completed warranty card. To make a claim under this warranty, contact GLOCK, Inc. at: 6000 Highlands Parkway, Smyrna, GA 30082, http://us.glock.com/customer-service/customer-support..., or (770) 432-1202 for instructions on how to return your pistol. Do not return your GLOCK pistol for service without prior authorization.

    LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY

    The warranty will be void if any of the following occur:

    The instructions in the Instructions for Use manual are not followed;
    Your GLOCK pistol or any of its parts are altered or modified from their original sate;
    Damage is caused by misuse, abuse or improper maintenance;
    Your GLOCK pistol is disassembled beyond the instruction in Chapter 9 of the Instructions for Use manual; or
    Reloaded, remanufactured, or handloaded ammunition, or ammunition of a different caliber than your GLOCK pistol is used.

    There are no warranties which extend beyond the description on the face hereof.
    The sole and exclusive remedy pursuant to this warranty is the repair or replacement of your GLOCK pistol, at the sole discretion of GLOCK, Inc.
    The implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are expressly disclaimed.
    All disclaimers and limitations of liability shall still apply even if the limited remedy of repair and replacement fails of its essential purpose.
    In states where permitted, GLOCK, Inc. assumes no liability for incidental or consequential damage or for incidental expenses.
    Any action against GLOCK, Inc. based on an alleged breach of this warranty must be brought within one (1) year of the claimed breach.
    GLOCK, Inc.’s liability for breach of warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of your GLOCK pistol, at the sole discretion of GLOCK, Inc."

    Is it just me, or does the Glock warranty almost look more limited than the Taurus warranty?

    Funny how the haters get high and mighty on a $200 gun and do not question a $500 gun's warranty.

    What about Kimber?
    https://www.kimberamerica.com/warranty...

    Savage?
    https://www.savagearms.com/warranty/...

    Beretta?
    http://www.berettausa.com/en-us/customer-service/warranty-serial-number-information/...

    Barrett?

    Century?
    https://www.centuryarms.com/media/wysiwyg/pdf/ConsumerPolicy.pdf...

    All one year warranties. Where are your snowflake tears on all of their posts crying about how Taurus' is so evil for not covering a grip 7 years down the road but Kimber not repairing a slide on the 366th day seems a-o-kay? You expect surf and turf at McDonald's
    prices but excuse a cold, burnt burger at a nice steak restaurant?

    Browning, FN, and Ruger do not even have written warranties. Great being they *currently* take care of their customers but what if they change their UNWRITTEN "policy" tomorrow?

    I like companies like Hi Point, Diamondback, SCCY and Keltec who not only warranty for a lifetime but respond to questions and keep service turnaround times under 30 days.

    If memory serves, the G2C doesn't have the Taurus Safety System.(TSS)
    (We have a G2 and never use the TSS anyway, so,,,,).
