Yuk, laser-etched logo that reminds me of almost all Taurus semi-autos.

Safeties are meant to prevent accidents and if you think that 1 second of flipping the safety will save you life then get a new career and new friends. Also trigger safeties are really not safeties at all and guess what type of guns are involved most in friendly fire accidents???

First you go on a diatribe about the importance of a safety and proceed to say a safety is not a safety. Revolvers don't have safeties why does the 92fs need one? What is the functional difference for the justification of a safety? There is none. Revolvers were carried fine for decades without them.... And they are still carried to this day with out them. Single action only guns are the only ones that require a safety. Springfield makes a gun with training wheels if you need one.

Ps friendly fire is totally different from a negligent discharge. Instead of being a safety nazi go train with your safe queens with safeties and learn the difference

Typical response from those who will never understand the concept of safety mechanisms as they are always relying on the safety between their ears which is typically as faulty as their logic!

Someone asked about the APX magazines fitting this. They have a different base shape.

Anyone know if the APX or any other Beretta magazines fit this handgun. Thanks.

This looks like it has a lot of potential. If it's at all like the Beretta APX I'll probably end up with one.

Code “welcome20” gets $20 off , shipping to tx was 9.99, total was $267.** from impact guns after code , all the 3 mag models are b/o’d everywhere

Looks nice. No safety or hinged trigger. Already ahead of most guns.

I'm not buying anything that comes with one mag. The companies that are getting it right multiple mags and then rebates for more mags. People should start demanding that we get multiple magazines... Come on companies it's not that difficult especially for Stoeger who's trying to get in the pistol Market step up and throw two more mags in there and then you may sell some pistols not just shotguns

You know there are two models right? The MSRP is like $50 more for the one with 3 mags and multiple palmswells. Your rant was good except Stoeger already is listening. I could do with out the palmswells if after market makers

Actually the MSRP is $60 higher which basically means $30 per mag for the 3 mag package version of this pistol.

https://www.stoegerindustries.com/str-9-semi-auto-pistol

Also, most of the listings for the 3 mag version with UPC 037084317212 is more than $50 on the websites listing them. Most list the 3 mag version at $350 right now compared to the $270ish the 1 mag version can be purchased for right now. That is a $80 difference. Currently as of my post the 3 mag version isn't in stock anywhere either so the cost is moot.

I will say the magazines for the STR-9 look the same from pictures as the ones for the Beretta APX which the gun seems to be a clone of. I am not sure if the magazines are interchangeable, but if they are, then the Beretta mags go for about $30 a pop right now. Although speculation is that the magazines are closer to Walther PPQ magazines. There isn't any place to buy STR-9 mags though except with the gun.

Exactly. And for the least expensive model, you don't even get the additional back straps. You only get the one that comes with it. You can buy the other two as options. Forget that!

Right off the bat the polymer receiver looks like the internals are like the Glock. And it figures last night I bought the Sig P320 although this is so low priced I might have to get one anyway!

Nobody should be buying crazy guns these days. It's retarded move especially guns like this should not cost more than $100 to manufacture one. $270 is simply over priced. $200 with one mag sound reasonable!

I only see one retarded thing here.

Opinions are like assholes, which is all that Tobuy has to offer since he doesn't post any actual reviews or useful information on anything.
