With that grip this thing has to be one hell of a monster to shoot. I'd want more of a substantial "base" on the grip for these magnum caliber wheel guns. Don't get me wrong this is a sweet revolver but the grip would need changing for my liking anyways. Just my opinion
You're not wrong. I have the Tracker in 44mag - essentially the same gun - but without the pic rail or whatever that thing is on the rear sight.
44 specials are very tame with the standard grip but, yes, you DEFINITELY want to upgrade to Hogue or better/custom if you'll be shooting 44mag.
I put an oversized Hogue on my Tracker and while it still isn't "pleasant" to shoot, it's much more manageable. IDK that you're going to find a grip that makes 44 mag "pleasant" to fire, but...isn't that kinda' the point when shooting calibers that could potentially canoe a bear?
If your looking to have a long wait time for the firearm to be shipped, horrible customer service, to be lied to and then hung up on then this is the place for you.
