Great price for $509.

Not surprised that they're gone already, but too rich for me. Already have the xdm 45 acp 3.8 - and the xds really isn't that much smaller. I'd rather have the extra capacity.

Landon is an awesome guy and made this very easy.

This gun is crazy accurate. I don't have a way to upload the targets I put up right out of the box.
3 yards was a 2" group and 7 yards was a 4" with one flyer at 6" on an 8" target.

All I did was open the box and break it down to put lube in the usual places for guns like this.
Very little twist. I think the flyer was my fault, it was the 7th round, first out of the 2nd mag plus 1. IT happened again on the 3rd mag and never again for another 100.
I was running Lawman *(Speer) 230gn FMJ's. ( did some research and it will run the +p's, just not a steady diet.

After that I simply got better with it. I'm a 1911 guy, i have a lot more than one gun, I own Glocks and Sigs, I hate to admit it
but this gun is more accurate than my Glock 30. It is still in break in and I'm hoping it tightens up some. This is my first Springfield Poly gun. I'm glad I found this one to be attractive to me as I am very happy with it.
It's been getting a lot of pocket time, IWB as well.

Lowest price I've seen on the XDS and I shopped them frequently prior to buying a Shield.

seems to me that these are more readily available lately, hopefully we will be seeing prices in the $450-$500 range when Springfield catches up with the initial demand.
