Description

The Springfield Armory Echelon 9mm Pistol is the next step forward in modular handgun technology. This pistol builds off of the popular chassis system that allows you to easily swap it between different grip modules and slide configurations to tailor the pistol to your needs. The chassis or central operating group (COG) is precision machined from stainless steel and features a striker fired trigger with drop safety. Taking customer feedback into consideration, the Echelon does not have a manual thumb safety or grip safety eliminating potential failure points making this a great option for duty or concealed carry. One of the standout features of this pistol is the patent pending optic mounting system that completely negates the need for adapter plates allowing you to mount any red dot directly to your slide. This innovative new feature known as the variable interface system (VIS) utilizes a series of self locking pins that attach directly to your slide allowing you to match the slide to any optic footprint. As the mounting screws are torques to spec, the pins exert lateral pressure to prevent the optic from moving for an incredibly durable fitment to the slide.

Additionally, the Echelon pistol comes with 3 backstraps, so you can customize the pistol right out of the box. The enhanced grip texture provides a perfect grip in wet conditions and even extends onto the indexing points for better recoil control. The slide also features improved serrations for easy slide manipulation and this model comes equipped with Tritium/Luminescent front sight and a U-Notch rear sight. Because of the deletion of the slide adapter plate, these sights will still be visible through some optics. The 4.5" hammer forged barrel features a Melonite coating and will last you thousands of rounds and a threaded option is also available.
