SIG PE90P: Based on the SIG 550 Rifle used primarily by the Swiss Armed Forces and made famous by great 90's action movies. The Sig PE90 was made for the civilian market as a sporter version that is semi-automatic. Sadly to import these rifles into the US, they must have the stock removed and classified as a pistol. Though if you're savvy enough, you can find adapters that can allow you to mount a pistol brace. Either way, we are very excited to offer these very rare pistols to the US market. This pistol is a blast to shoot; very accurate and very reliable. Operating from a closed bolt, it uses a long-stroke gas piston system similar to the AK platform. The rotating bolt design delays the rearward movement of the bolt just enough to create an enjoyable shooting experience and one that is very easy to get quick follow-up shots. The classic military green plastic furniture is lightweight, durable, and very comfortable. The vented handguard houses two steel bipod legs that are easy to utilize. Featuring arguably some of the best iron sights ever to grace rifles, the HK-style diopter sight is adjustable for windage and elevation with four rotating settings for 100-400 meters. AK users will also find similarities in the magazine release and right-side charging handle. However, this rifle does have a last-round bolt hold-open feature with a bolt release on the left side of the receiver. The lower receiver has an ambidextrous safety selector that is in a similar location to an AR15. Fitted at the end of this unique 20.8" barrel is a classic A2-style "birdcage" flash hider. Truly a classic firearm that is only getting harder to find.

Purchase it from JDI. The issue is waiting for it when JDI imports them.
While I get importing as a pistol, I’m fairly certain putting a stock on it here then classifies it as a rifle and it’s allowed. I believe similarly the Galil Ace are all imported as pistols and they install the stocks once here bc it’s always since converting it is legal once here. Maybe 922r is the issue requiring USA parts but thats generally only an importer rule
yes it is a rifle with a stock and they do that for import reasons because u.s.-imported rifles need to have "sporting purpose" aka not any scary features like bayonet lug and threaded barrel. Some importers doing the threading and other features to neutered rifles themselves in the states as a loophole. This is the other loophole where they remove the stock to import it as a pistol and thus can keep all the scary features.
$5199 at Atlantic firearms. Classic is out of their f-ing minds at this price....smh
