I've been wanting a 9mm P320 but didn't want to pay Sig prices on the firearm and additional mags. Looks like I might get my wish soon! I got a Police Trade P320 in 40 and absolutely love it. I believe the Pretti discharge was the agents finger. He'd been on high alert all day and accidentally touched it. P320's don't have the external trigger safety, so it's highly plausible, with gloves on, it was touched harder than the agent was expecting.

Define "got in the way" Did these protesters previously attempt to run over agents with their vehicles, or attack with shovels and other metal objects causing injury and hospitalization? Or did they use rocks, batons, or molotov cocktails while calling for violence and attacking agents homes?

SIG may be in more trouble now. DHS is throwing them under the bus. DHS is now investigating (laughable) if the member of ICE that removed the firearm caused an unintended discharge that set off a hail of gunfire that resulted in the death of Alex Pretti, a US citizen with a license to legally carry a concealed firearm. Now you can debate whether or not it was smart to carry a firearm to a protest or whether it was smart to own a SIG P320 but Alex Pretti had a legal right to be there with his firearm. I will defend his right to be there, I defend his right to legally carry a firearm, I praise him for his service to the sick and dying VETs he comforted and I praise him for trying to assist a woman who had just been pepper sprayed. IMHO his only bad choice was this weapon as his EDC.

This appears to be a PRETTI GOOD deal! Whoever thinks going to LAWFUL immigration enforcement operations and decide to attack a woman, then interfere and resist detainment ALL WHILE BEING ARMED, is a good idea needs their heads examined at best. Going to obstruct law enforcement while being armed is ILLEGAL for this exact reason. While I do not also agree 100% with some tactics, the bottom line is the fact of personal responsibility and accountability. Had either of these 2 agitators, Pretti and Good, not made the choice to involve themselves in the manner they did, they would still be alive. If people take issue with the current policies and laws, the way to fight for change is thru your voting rights. Electing politicians who align with your ideaolgies and political beliefs. Going to harass, dox, assault and interfere with title 8 immigration enforcement is NOT the way. Furthermore, these politicians like Tim Walz and Jacob Frey are inciting this behavior and will continue to have blood on their hands if they continue to instruct their citizens to physically fight with ICE and border patrol officers. ANY politician who is inciting violence against law enforcement should be stripped of power and title and face legal ramifications for their actions. Enough is enough!
