You get deep cut thumb slats for a more aggressive texture. The trigger guard fits holsters better with Shadow Systems' newer trigger guard design. The slide features a thin profile. The corners of the Shadow Systems slide are beveled and angled forward in the rear for more comfortable carry. The beveled cuts on the front aid in reholstering. The Elite model features additional slide serrations on the top of the slide and lightning cuts down the side.
