Savage® teamed up with Magpul® to pair a premium aftermarket stock with the proven 110 action. The 110 Magpul Hunter features a factory blueprinted action with an 18” threaded heavy barrel optimal for any need and the Cerakote Tungsten finish prevents corrosion and exposure to the elements. The knurled bolt handle, adjustable length of pull, and comb height options from Magpul round out ergonomic improvements to this Model 110. Those features paired with the user-adjustable AccuTrigger™ allows crisp, clean shots to close out the perfect shot. Savage and Magpul thought of everyone when they created this package, available for both left and right-handed shooters.

Yes, good points. I like the Ruger as well. I think this $600 Savage makes the most inexpensive option for a person to learn the platform and scope while allowing a great upgrade and caliber change when the shooter's ready. Spend the money on ammo before buying the GA Precision!
Disregard the first photo. This model is the Magpul Hunter and the UPC is correct. $600 is the lowest price found for a very accurate, entry level precision rifle...the stock, Cerakote, threaded heavy barrel, proven 110 action and several other upgrades make this a very good value. The 18" barrel is handy for suppressor use and still makes 2700 plus fps with heavy bullets.
Once the factory barrel is gone multiple prefits available too...I will say I like the AICS mag Ruger American too in this price range but prefit availability tips the scales for the small shank savage creates possibility for very significant upgrades. Factory barrels have come a long way but the prefits nowadays can be amazing. .
