My favorite carry gun! I have over 50 guns is my collection and the SAR9 is my go to for duty carry and EDC. I have done extensive testing and shot a thousand rounds plus out of my SAR9 with zero malfunctions. I have carried many different models during my 30 years in law enforcement and the private security industry. I used to run a HK VP9. The thing about carrying such expensive pistols in the private security industry is if you even draw your weapon on another human being for whatever reason and law enforcement is called to the scene, 9/10 times they will take your weapon until the case is finished and a judge releases your property back to you. It's a very stupid way to handle such a situation, but it is what it is and I cannot change it........
I'd like to add that I've also been a firearms certification instructor for the Department of Public safety, standards and training (DPSST) private security sector for over 20 years so I have extensive knowledge and experience with firearms. I chose the SAR9 for issuing to all my armed security officers for the fact they are budget friendly however first and foremost is the reliability and accuracy! Furthermore they can be made to fit any sizes hands with the included grip panels. They truly are excellent pistols made with pride. I can't say enough good about them. If your on the fence, I say go for it! You'll thank me later! Haha.
