It's a shame they couldn't include a holster which worked with the light. Still a great deal though, you could always repurpose the light elsewhere.
I bought the last 4" SAR9Compact in OD Green. They updated the picture they are using as they now include an IWB holster and it accepts the light as well, where the former OWB didn't. You don't get the big red case anymore either, just a standard black SAR case, but they did throw in an optic mounting plate with no screws. Honestly, once you mount a light on a gun, an IWB holster gets so wide, comfort starts to become an issue as your beltline bends and the holster doesn't.
If you don't have one already, just buy it, you won't be SAR-RY, and to get an X model at this price, you know its not going to get any better.
Yeah unfortunately the light and the holster are pretty much trash anyway. Better off getting a higher quality light and a much better retention type holster if open carrying or a good CCW holster and quality gun belt. The pistol however is worth the price on its own.

SAR hangduns are one of the most underrated pistol brands there is, along with Arex. I got a SAR 9 and was so impressed with the pistol at the price that I bought two more. One for my daughter and one for my sister. You can’t go wrong with this deal. Same with the Arex Zero series handguns. Phenomenal handguns for the price.
I absolutely agree. The SAR9 is the best "budget" pistol out there. My whole armed security company are all issued these now. I save Alot of money buying these and issuing them to all my armed guards vs something like a Glock. After the extensive testing I have done with several of the SAR pistols has shown them to be absolutely 100 percent reliable, smooth shooting, adaptable for any size hand and they are dead accurate. With my DPSST certifications I've been able to procure them for $200ea. The only thing is we do not use the provided holsters as they do not offer enough retention for safety. Fine for range day or regular joes but not for duty.
Love this deal! The only complaint I have is they give you a weapon light and a holster that doesn’t accept a weapon light. Plus you’ll have to trim down the holster a tad bit for a red dot to fit properly.
Damn this is a steal. The SAR9's are absolutely one of the best shooting budget pistols I've ever carried and owned. These pistols are silky smooth, good triggers, accurate and fits any hand like a glove. Truly on of the best!
When it gets to $200 , I will buy 2 of them

My experience with Turkish Pistols has been great, SAR9cx, Tisas PX-9, Girsan MC28 are all very similar, all extremely high quality and reliable, come in a case, not a box, and they throw in the extras too like US mfgs used to do, like cleaning brushes, grip panels, SAR even throws in a light, and holsters. They aren't budget pistols at all, they are first run guns, usually over tested and documented from being used by military and police forces, that you can get for a steal because of the exchange rate. They prove you don't have to spend more than 300 bucks on a quality 9mm pistol, any more, and you are paying more for the name engraved on the side.
