Too much, this was just in the $500 range 12-15 months ago....lowest price was $479. I don't see how this pistol jumped that much when others are now starting to come down in price.

Not a bad price. Check before buying, you may end up with 3 mags instead of 5. Uses colt mags. If you change out the buffer tube, Heat will not help loosen the compound they use. May be rocksett, which I believe needs cold to remove. You'll also need the Spikes 9mm buffer tube spacer or a stack of quarters to make up the difference in internal length between the tubes. Other than that these are good except magazines. Colt mags are simply not reliable and have yet found a good one. They all have issues, mostly when fully loaded. The flash hider is 1/2x28, also has rocksett type glue on it. The charging handle appears to be the same length as a Sig MPX, have not tried to swap out but used a MFT extended handle. Handguard barrel nut SHOULD be the same thread as any AR but I do like the quadrail weight and feel.

Are the mags Colt compatible or just proprietary? It doesn't look like Glock compatibility due to the mag being perpendicular to the chamber.

Colt style only. There are few different manufacturers so they're relatively cheap.

For those curious, when this model first released, the MSRP was well over $1000. It first included 5 magazines, and I believe even Magpul Pro flip up sights. Since other 9mm ARs were available at lower prices, this model didn't sell very well so SAR USA re-released this model with 3 magazines and cheap generic manual flip up sights at a lower price. At that specific time online retailers were selling those for a bit over $600.

I had the model with 3 magazines and cheap sights. It would not reliably feed any hollow point ammunition. I was basically limited to just range use. Eventually got rid of it.

I don't think the UPC or SKU has changed between versions. Judging by how much more expensive they're selling for at this very moment, I suspect the ones that are selling for around $1,500 are the 5 magazine models, but I could be wrong.

Never heard of there being a 2 magazine model. Perhaps Locked Loaded is removing the 3rd mag?

An FYI in case for those who may not know. This gun has certain proprietary parts due to the different size receivers compared to other AR9s. Parts swap/customization may not be as smooth. I didn't care for the tiny charging handle. Since it's proprietary, any other charging handle would not have fit.

So when I bought mine a while back I thought mine had said 5 mags but it only came with 3. When I went to look back at the listing it had changed. I was a little miffed but mine came with the troy/HK style sights which are metal and super nice so I took it as a net plus, rather have those sights than 2 extra mags given how cheap the mags are. It was a little difficult to remove the buffer tube to install one that could accept a brace, the turkish loctite was very strong. The charging handle was easy to change out the latch to make it a little more accessible, some research suggested compatibility with a sig rattler charging handle but I cannot verify that. The pistol grip was trash and the trigger is not great but is really wide and serrated so it feel good. The overall construction feels nice. Between it and my stribog they both have their hits and misses. I did change out the lower on the stribog to a lingle metal scorpion lower so i'm into it for a little more money but I do like the scorpion mags more. The 109t just feels good and has a certain novelty to it. I paid right at 600 for mine and have been more than happy with it for the price.

While these are fine firearms, I think I’d go with the striving if I needed a 9mm sub.

@Locked and Loaded: this ad says it comes with five magazines. But on your website, your ad says it comes with two magazines. Which is it?
