The Rock Ultra FS pistol is built in traditional 70 series design and delivered with our precise engineering standards and first rate upgrades. This pistol is chambered in 10mm with a 5” button rifled barrel supported by a full length guide rod. Smooth angled, snag-free style allows for quick draw in fast need situations. Includes rear LPA MPS1 Adjustable Type sight and high visibility fiber optic front sight. Also includes skeletonized hammer and trigger with adjustable over travel stop and ambidextrous safety, which comes standard in the Rock series. The Rock Ultra is finished with a tough parkerzied matte coating and adds battle ready G10 tactical grips. True to all Rock Island 1911s, the Rock Ultra comes with a crisp factory 1.36 kg - 1.81 kg trigger to give you a great experience right out of the box.

I love this gun I have never had any problems including no jams with all sorts of ammo even tula. bottom line this pistol is not made in the U.S. but the reliability and quality for the price you pay is outstanding in my opinion. I have seen these go for about 430-500 new at my local gun shows within the last moth though so maybe check one out and get an even better price.
They are not american made which is the only reason i could see the downvotes, people with more money than brains will tell you otherwise, but this is a damn fine model with numerous upgrades that the high priced pistols have id order of it were 45 but 10mm is a manufactures brand

. . what do you mean by that? I'd say 10mm is a custom hand loaders choice over .45 -any day by almost all measures- .45 is a "manufacturers caliber" as most avid shooters and reloaders see it. 45's the default/ keyboard commando/ forum hive-minders caliber of choice. While most bulk manufactured 10mm rounds are anemic vs the range of [within spec] of what it can be vs. even pushed within the upper limits of what a .45 can do most found the 10mm trumps it.
