Of all the "affordable" 00 out there (Estate, Herters, and RIO) these are my favorite; yeah they are a titch over the standard 2 3/4 and you can carry one less in your magazine, but from an 18.5 modified barrel they pattern dead on; at least 6 of the nine shot are within a 7" target at 15 yards. And this is a good price.
Awesome deal was waiting for some reasonably range ammo for some time...
Wow how is the one down vote for "bad retailer" when Sportsman's Guide deals are all over?
Also, if you have the $20 off $150, you can get 400 rounds and 2 dry boxes for under $200 shipped to most places.
I just picked these up for $2.99 a pack at my local Dunhams shop.
These are actually larger then 2-3/4" shells. They're 1/4" longer which may affect how they fit in your shotguns. My Mossberg 590A1 which is a 8+1 can only hold 7+1 with these.
Besides the fact they're larger then advertised, they shoot great, hit hard and hold a good pattern.
once again I ask why? you guys do know that rio is the most expensive of the el cheapo buckshot and you can get armscor, Spartan and several others for $99 a case delivered, for $50 more then this "deal" you can get 2 3/4" fed tac delivered if you shop a bit
