Just got mine, very good quality from what I can see. Haven't fired it yet, but the finish is nice and the bolt slides inside the carrier very smoothly.

That's for sure! I ordered 3 Grendel mags from them. After 2 weeks and no shipping notification, I finally called them. They said well we have 8 business days to ship. I said it's been 10. 1hr after I hung up the phone I got an email with tracking number. LOL Their sales would benefit if they could manage shipping and stock levels. They have a lot of nice stuff. But they just can't manage it.

Got one, smooth consistent finish, just lube it up a little before you use it.

Ordered two and took one out yesterday in my new AR build and it functioned great. Looked good as well. Nice all matte black finish uniformly covered entire thing with no light or darker areas. Would definitely buy more when needed for this price.

I think Porkman nailed it. There is a big difference between the premium and freedom lines...

Not commenting so much on the deal, as it seems pretty good regardless... but this is their "freedom" line not their "premium". I always wondered why they make that designation for just the bcg by itself, as I believe the specs are the same for both the freedom bcg and premium bcg (nitrided with c158 bolt). You might have just nailed it janizary, the difference might only the difference in quality of finish/nitriding.

For the record I have no experience with their freedom bcg, I do have one of their premium bcgs and the nitriding is high quality and super smooth, no regrets and I think I paid around $90 for it a year or two ago.

No wonder they are on sale. Sometimes I fool myself and think a sale means a deal. Looks like they are trying to unload them

A little bit of feedback on the one I ordered to check out:

The nitriding on the sample I received was...rough. I've got a small canoe full of nitrided BCGs and this one has the ugliest job of the bunch. So coarse it almost looks parkerized rather than nitrided. I had one 9mm carrier from Spinta that was almost as bad a nitriding job, but this PSA took the crown now.

Fitment between the bolt rings and the bolt carrier is both tight and gritty. That said, if there is credence that these samples are made for PSA by Toolcraft, the handful of Toolcraft BCGs that I have are nearly as tight and gritty.

Cycles okay on an overgassed carbine-gas upper. On a custom upper with a Sentry7 adjustable block I had to open it up 4 clicks compared to where I normally run with the NiBX carrier in that rifle.

I'll drop it in one of my range loaners and see how it holds up over time.
