I can never understand the logic behind "battleworn" finishes. Just go shoot the damn thing, drop it in the dirt a few times, do quick draw drills from a holster and over time you'll at least get some battleworn character. I wonder who gets the job of sitting down and beating the shit out of a new finish to sell off to some goon who wants a gun that looks trashed, just to put in his safe. If I'm buying a gun I want it to be in perfect condition. Then if I want to distress my gun, I'll just take it to the range and beat the shit out of it myself! Haha.
