"100 feet Hank"

Who is Hank?

It's a 100' piece cut off a larger reel. Just like yarn, string is sold in "hanks" if it's not on a spool. Doubt the ends are served either.

If you want the good stuff go to REI and get some accessory cord like this
https://www.rei.com/product/716686/pmi-utility-cord-3mm...
It's more expensive but wayyyyyy stronger and won't fray or give up just when you need it.
Makes great bootlaces too :)

Has anyone used this paracord? It is not mil-spec, but Paracord Planet is listed as one of 5 top US manufacturers of this product. What bothers me is that someone has reported that the cord has seven braids inside, but each braid contains only 2 strings instead of 3. Any feedback on cord quality from actual users?

I've used it but for only general purpose sorts of things like hanging targets or strapping down a mattress or like a sling for my binoculars and stuff like that and it's held up quite well I haven't tried to climb anything with it but it seems to be well made overall.
