I swear that most suppressors on the market have got to have one of the highest profit margins in the gun industry. $1000 for a piece of tube steel and some end fittings and such is ridiculous. If these things ever stop being taxed and open for all to buy without the big "mother may I" from the government, prices will drop drastically. There's no damn reason suppressors should cost this much (and this one's middle of the road in prices). Hopefully in my lifetime that's left I will see the big government release their chokehold on something designed to protect ones hearing.
