Got it on the amazon sale. I have various models of Olights both Valkerye and Baldr series. This is probably the worst light they sell in terms of lumens. An acclaimed “1500” lms . To put it in perspective, the valkerye mini 600 puts this light to shame. The throw is very yellow and more of a beam/spot style but definetly nowhere near the 1500 lms it claims to have. Maybe $20 on a good day.
Are you sure it's not programmed for low mode (300lm) or lock out mode (where it will still emit aprox 100lm)? One thing I like a lot about Olight is the great customer service they've provided to me when needed. I've found them to be very helpful and easy to get along with. I like the performance benefits of modern lights, but I sure do miss the simplicity of older lights that didn't require programming. They were either on or off.

Im pretty savy with lights, . I did cycle through all the modes, lo/high strobe etc. the max i got was still low compared to my cheapest light. After i returned i actually researched and found many shared the same thoughts on it. I like Olight just not this exact model. Wasnt for me.i carry streamlight on the daily but i do have a variety of Olights. Im a fan of the Olight chargers. And as i meantioned compared to the mini valkerye i have on my cz or my baldr Rl i rock on t my glock it was put to shame.
Gotcha. Though it's somewhat inconvenient, at least you have Amazon's policy of free return or replacement until Jan 31 2026 to fall back on so you won't be out any funds or stuck with an unsatisfactory product. I watched several user uploaded YT vids of this light and was purdy dang impressed by the performance of the light. Maybe you received a lemon, which can happen with any product from any company. Whichever route you decide to take I bet things will work-out fine for you. In my experience both Olight and Amazon are very good at making things right for their customers.

You might give it another try. I just tested the code and it was accepted just fine for me. It knocked $7 off the price.
* Another option you might consider is ordering it directly from Olight. If you order from them it will come with a lifetime warranty plus a sRPL-7 magnetic remote pressure switch for use if you choose to mount the light to a pic rail on a long-gun. It doesn't matter where you buy it from. Any light purchased after 1/1/23 in the USA, has a lifetime warranty which includes the non removable batteries (a plus). So buy it wherever you get the best deal. Don't spread fud.
Howdy Kid. When the lifetime warranty was implemented in 2023 Olight stated on their FB page that the warranty only applied toward purchases made through their website. I didn't realize things had changed since then. I rarely visit FB. With Olight now having a dealer program and their own official Olight Store on Amazon I can understand the change. I can't help but doubt the lifetime warranty would apply for purchases made from individuals who are not authorized Olight dealers advertising Olight products, sometimes at scalped prices. Don't be an ass.
Who's being an ass? I'm just stating fact from their own website as there are often better deals from other sellers. Have a handful of olight products and only once was their website an actual deal.
And you're the only one mentioning janky sellers. Get a grip. Shooters Gate and Lumen 15 often had better deals than olight direct. Amazon usually does too. The bonus remote switch on the one valkyrie was the last time I saw a better deal direct. Hell, for the longest time I was pointing people to $135 osight SE's.
Maybe try not sound like a company shill when you talk and then futz around it when you say something wrong.
Idk anything about this light but when I click on the link i get bombarded by 2 pop ups, and when I go to reject cookies it wont let me reject all (dont sell my data) which doesnt let me use the site. Kinda Sus, wont be buying from them anytime soon.
