Actually, nice I ordered some the last time they popped up on here
Coupon Code doesn't work
I want to grab 2 for crappy back ups I just need Point of Deer @40 yards or less incase my red dot dies. hell I can just "eyeball" it but my glasses keep getting thicker every year and another pair for HD oh well, I will wait for the next ones
Do I think these are duty grade/heavy use? Not a chance. Do I think the concept of still having irons when folded is cool? Absolutely. As @WooHoo2You mentioned, even if utter crap for zero, they're fine for HD range which is all I need as a BUIS for a cpl platforms. Now - if the rail mount slips? I'll post an update. Otherwise, I see no downside for my particular use case (unless proven wrong; which will be LONG before someone breaks into my house).
I was in the market for an inexpensive sight. Here's hoping they're okay quality. I've had decent luck with Ohunt stuff.
For those wondering about the quality, they're okay. They don't slide around on the rail like other cheap stuff, but they do have about 1mm left/right wobble when I push against it in the folded up position. So heavier calibers might knock it off long range. In the folded down position, they're fantastic. Perfect as a backup sight I'll probably put a set on all my rifles that only have a dot sight. They're worth it for that alone.
Backup sights are rarely used on my ARs so I have no problem using inexpensive but functional polymer flip ups to add as little weight as necessary. I got these for my most recent 9mm pistol upper build and really liked them. Even collapsed I got them to be very visible by adding a riser under my 4x ACOG style optic, yes one of the <100 copies, and the fiber light pipes in the both the deployed and collapsed positions were perfect for my build.
KCSteve: Mine arrived today. They are awesome !! Fiber optics everywhere and usable up or down. What a bargain.
Which ACOG clone do you have? I have a random 4x32 one that came on a gun I purchased used, it actually works well but have been unable to find something similar that didn't appear like pure junk. Has both battery and 'fiber optic' illuminated reticle.
@dresegura, at this price probably but .223 / 5.56 doesn't much recoil and like KCSteve stated BUIS rarely get used so unless it is on a service rifle then you'll probably be fine (IMO). Honestly even for a home defense gun if the sights were to completely lose zero you'll still be hitting anything inside of HD ranges unless your house has 100 yard hallways.
Its an ebay special so the foreign seller disappeared soon after purchase. I have a green 4x ^ reticle illuminated via fiber and has a RMR clone on top that is logo'd and even has the QR code on it like the real thing, and also have a red 4x without logos, also pure fiber. These are mounted on my AR uppers, one 556 and one 9mm, so light recoil at best and 4x is plenty at close quarters.

I just received mine from amazon, they seem sturdy enough ,well packaged and seem pretty functional . These would be good back ups or probably fine for a 9mm pcc.
