Reputation as a trashy company by competitors in my group but at least their weapon is simple.
This is about the least expensive rifle available for getting into the .50 cal forray. I've been wanting to get into long range, high power shooting and this is very tempting to buy. I will need to do some research on this rifle as if it's not good quality, it can become a VERY Dangerous situation. Just ask Scott from Kentucky ballistics... His now motto is "just stick a thumb in it" after damn near losing his life after his Serbu .50 cal rifle blew up in his face and severing his artery in his neck....
Granted there was a debate about his ammunition being tampered with and WAY over charged with powder. Either way .50 is not a gun to be messed with.
Anyone actually own on if these and care to share your thoughts? I trust most of my fellow gundeals members and their thoughts and experience.
Highly recommend the Armalite AR-50 over this.
From my understanding, he was shooting surplus ammunition and an unmarked bad tracer round that was mixed in caused a pressure spike and blew the gun apart.

I own and shoot and enjoy one of the BOHICA uppers. They have such a bad reputation that the company has long since gone under. I did my reading before I bought it, and 100% of their bad rep stems from one incident where the shooter used a HAMMER to BEAT his bolt into battery before it popped. You can even see the separated case head in one of the "aftermath" photos. Pretty hard for any company to control that one critical component, the nut behind the stock. Mine shoots reliably and accurately and because of that guy I got it at a bargain price.
