Every vehicle and every home should have one these in it along side other survival gear and food items. No one should ever not have emergency rations and supplies. One should have at minimum, enough nourishment for each person of your group for minimum of 3 days. One should also have a well stocked first aid kit, emergency blankets, lights, batteries or power source like a fold out solar panel or power bank. Also one should have at least $500 in cash locked away . In the event powers out for extended time, you may not be able to get money from the bank. Also a months supply of all prescriptions you may need and copies of your identification, insurance papers, etc
And lastly you should have a couple change of clothes and most important, Your BUG OUT GUNS and ammunition. One must go back to the days of old and assume all technology will cease to exist for any amount of time. Im sure most of you all know this but in the event a member doesn't know, then if I help one person, then I'm happy and cool with that. I will remove my tinfoil hat now. Hahaha.

I bought one of these crank radio's years ago when they first came out. It was all plastic including the crank and the guts inside inside, it lasted about 3 times of cranking and quit working. The reviews say this one is made pretty good so I might add this one to my bugout bag.

Same. Mine was a L. L. Bean one. Never got a year out of it. They are junk if you acutely use them more than once.
