I'm VERY tempted to get one of these myself. I've been stuck with buyers paralysis over the next PDW I buy. I've got a short list and this is on it. Wish someone who owns this would give me a rundown on what they think. I'm usually the one giving info but this time I'm asking for members to help me out here! Haha.
The only thing I wish is that it had a side charging handle vs the AR style charging handle, but that's a small issue. I also am not sure if I want the roller delayed model, the Mac 5 is roller delayed but is also about $1k...What's your thoughts? Opinion?
I really didn't consider this gun that all that much however when I got a notification of the $599 price I was literally grabbing my CC card (optic, brace, and gun for $600 was just silly low). I guess there was only one at that price because I logged in 5 minutes after the email and it was already OOS and back to $899 :(
The rear charging is a bummer but still workable. I think the tri-lug is a plus.
Maybe they'll drop this package down to $600-ish again, if so, I'll probably buy, not at $900 though.
For a delayed (maybe not "roller"), perhaps look into the Stribog SP9A3 (not the A1), that is a heck of a PDW. The A1 is cool too, just pure blowback.
It's cool they went with MP5 style mags but on a budget sub-ish gun they could have gone with CZ Evo magazines to save a boatload of money for the enduser and they would have been infinitely easier to source. (or Glock mags but those would have looked dumb....) With CZ mags this would be an instant buy, as it stands it is an interesting prospect.
