What is the deal with the clip? It looks unsubstantial and like more of an afterthought than anything. Can anyone who has one verify its quality/durability?
Nope, the clip works perfectly with the knife, at least on the pivot end anyway. Real happy with this blade so far. Not going to be using it for a prying tool though.
I'm a sucker for a good knife...mine arrived today. Well worth the price, if you like knives and need one or just have $60 to burn, go for it!

Would be a great deal if it had Speedsafe opening. Still a good deal and good knife, but not good enough to make me bite without Speedsafe. Who knows why they didn't include the speedsafe on this knife - *doh*

I agree this is a good price on a usa made Damascus Skyline
I have bad timing, a buddy of mine has been begging me to sell him my slightly modified Boker automat wharncliffe bladed Kalashnikov with custom rocky mountain scales I harvested from a cheap Boker Magnum.
I relented and gave it up and bought myself a replacement Boker automat Damascus Kalashnikov a couple days ago, I may have bought this instead.
It's seems like its 6 $ s/h...and a decent deal compared to amazon pricing.
