BTW, based on the title of the Amazon listing I am going to take a wild guess if it requires assembly or not....

As far as this being a "safe" it is not. It is more a locking cabinet. Now for someone who say might have kids at home this may be a good inexpensive solution at keep the guns locked up and away from curious minds. However a thief or anyone who really wants in there will have no problem getting into it. I can't say it'd be my first option for securing my guns but if you need something fast and on the cheap, this is better than nothing. So it fits a niche I'd say. On another note this may also be a good option for stuff that may be cluttering your current true fun safe. Like ammo, accessories, things of that sort that don't really need hard lock up. Just a thought.
I have a cabinet like this and we use it as a common holding area, it holds guns, mags, ammo etc that usually go to the range regularly. For the price and keeping everyone out of my gun room it’s worth it.
Assembly required. All fake reviews on Amazon for the KAER brand. Some with Walmart's listings. Let me know if you see assembly required anywhere on the listing. Looking at the fake review pictures and you will see. All Kaer safes are assembly required. How else do you think they are shipping a fridge sized box for free
