Description
The IWI CARMEL rifle is a semiautomatic, short stroke, gas piston rifle. Made from superior steel, aviation grade aluminum and high strength impact modified polymer for outstanding performance in all environmental conditions. The rifle has a locking, rotating bolt system ensuring maximum safety for the user. IWI CARMEL is fully ambidextrous and can be easily customized with MLOK rails to allow compatibility with various accessories.

I've always wondered and been interested in this platform and rifle. At this price it may be worth picking one up. Anyone have one of these? Thoughts and experiences? I like all the features this rifle offers and now being offered for just over a grand, I don't believe I could go wrong, that is if these are not just complete junk...I don't these are junk seeings how many militaries around the world use them. The ONLY thing I may have concerns about is the folding stock hinge. It looks like it's made of polymer with a steel pin. I wonder how durable it is over time...
