For what it’s worth, I love mine and have found it to be quite reliable with an H2 buffer. Built on a Poverty Pony lower of course.

11.5 inch barrels gets a huge gain in fps for the projectile. In my opinion, only get 10.5 inches or less if you have a can to put on it. PSA has this for cheap, because any shorter and you are missing out on a lot of energy of from the powder burn.

A huge gain in FPS? Not that I've seen. What you do get with 11.5 though is more dwell time, less wear and tear, and better reliability. Agree that 11.5 is a better choice for non-suppressed weapons, but also could be a problem with the new ATF rules on pistol braces we are about to be graced with.

10.5 will always work within 100 yards. So if you DO like it, buy it. Im not saying not to, i just like an accurate bullet with greater ft-lbs of energy.

So then get a 12.5... or better yet 14.7.... or better yet 16 inches... 20 inches. Do you see where what youre saying sounds dumb. 10.3 is the industry accepeted minimum for dwell time. Thats why you see so many 10.5s. Shortest CQB barrel still effective out to 100. (2500+ FPS) Alot of folks throw a .22LR bolt in their 10.5s.
