I've got a few pages of these we use as loaners and backups. I agree there a little thick if you're getting down on a rifle, but they're great for non-magnum pistol shooting.

The only gripe is occasionally you can get feedback noise if you have them turned up.

my 74 yro mom has a set and she doesn't like them she says that they hit the stock when she is shooting rifle or shotgun, get the flatter/thinner Caldwell for 2X the price, she loves hers...
but, if you are a pistol shooter, I don't think you cant beat the price of these...
