FEATURES
The design of the VP9, influenced by the experience gained by HK engineers working on the P30 hammer-fired pistol, represents a significant advancement. The VP9 incorporates a distinctive striker firing system coupled with an improved HK "light pull" trigger, setting a new standard for trigger quality in production striker-fired handguns. Meticulous attention has been given to every aspect, from the grip angle to the contour of the front strap and the high rear saddle, all meticulously chosen to enhance the pistol's ergonomics and suit the human hand.

Does Hk still use chicken wire as a spring and a plastic hot glue plug to rest the trigger? Please look in your lower receiver frame and press the trigger to identify the first part that will break on this pistol.

Not only that but the frame is made of foam insulation and the entire gun shipped in chicken feathers. Nearing 6k rounds but still working strangely enough. Guess I better double check the rubber band recoil system.

Dk if I should get this or the OR Walther PDP...

The H&K VP9 is much better than the PDP. Now the Walther PQP might be more in line with the VP9, but the VP9 is still the better gun overall. There are some stores that sell this no sales tax. The night sights and 3 17 rd mags is an excellent choice.

Noted, the vp9 with the $200 credit seems like the best deal right now then, either that or maybe I’ll wait around for some more Glock deals. Thanks

$200 credit? I see a rebate for free mags. Am I missing something

I got the VP9 OD GREEN with night sights with 3 mags plus 4 additional (17 round not 15 rd) total 7 mags. Each mag worth $50 +. The night sights worth $100 plus. That is a thousand dollar gun. I got mine out the door for 499 plus shipping. Factor in the 200 credit, you looking at 300 actual in the gun. I had the Glock 45 9mm. One of the best Glocks around. The VP9 shot smoother, faster, and more accurate.

It's not 4 mags AND $200....the $200 is the rebate and technically equates to 4 mags. Not sure why HK advertises it as 4 free mags instead of just mentioning the credit. Also the rebate period ended December 31st 2023 unless there's a new one?

I used the $200 credit to purchase 4 17 round mags. You can use the $200 anyway you want. I ended up with a nice VP9 with night sights and 7- 17 round mags for 499 out the door. I did not go through PSA. When you factor in the $200 credit against the 499, then I really only have 299 in a thousand dollar gun. H&K has rebates right now. They had a couple of rebates last year.

I agree it's a good deal, but when has the VP9 ever sold for $1,000? Not even the more expensive P30 was $1,000. I bought the VP9 when it first came out for like $599...

Many VP9 are being sold for around $600-$800 before they started reducing the gun and providing rebates. Lets say you can buy the VP9 model with the night sights and 3 mags which is a special package. About 600-700. The $200 credit/rebate offered brings the total to $800-900. The sales tax of 8% - 10% plus the shipping of $20-25 would bring the total to 885.60 - $993.00. The FFL would be around $20 - 30 dollars. A thousand dollar gun depending on where you buy it and if it is on sale.

Huh? You lost me. You subtract the rebate from the price not add it. What am I missing?

Fair enough. It's a great deal regardless for an excellent pistol

I agree. About 2 years ago, a basis VP9 was hovering around 600+, but so was everything else. I consider the gun in the top ten 9mms today.

Just bought it as my first gun, will probably send the slide to get milled in the future

Good choice. Probably the best pistol in the world under $1,000

Doesn't it say 2 mags included in PSA?
