I wondered how long it was gonna be before Heritage made a snubby. Sure this is a 2" barrel but still nice to see then do something different. Would I take one of their guns to a gun fight? hell no, but for plinking and having fun they are a blast. I have two of the full sized wheel guns. I love the combo . 22/.22mag. The cool thing is, if you buy a . 22mag cylinder, theres no reason you couldnt use it in this snubby version. That'd pack a little more punch! wouldnt be bad for a small truck gun, or for a day hiking, camping, etc. Theres plenty of self defense rounds available for the .22mag. Not sure ballistically how they would perform in a 2" wheel gun? Might be worth a little experimenting?. I would not go to hot of loads as these are made out of ZAMAK, same pot metal stuff hot wheel cars are made from... lol. It is nice to see they took the time and effort to at least crown the tip of the barrel after shortening it. Alot of these cheap wheel guns simply get lopped off and a bit of sanding.. the only thing I wish theyd do or done is made these all 9 shot. For some reason, only a handful of their wheel guns came out with 9 shot cylinders? I do not know why they only made one or two models 9 shot and the majority all 6 shot? maybe it wasnt cost effective to tool and spend extra time on the 9 shots or maybe there is safety concerns? not sure? anyone have an idea? Id love to hear other folks respectful opinions on these.
