Crackheads. Sucker born every minute I suppose, and I AM sucker for tools and parts that spew my money at increasingly ridiculous rates but you could HALVE that price and I'd still pass. The "Save $500!!" made me spit, best joke I've seen in a while. Get a grip, guys. I like MMC/Delta Team/whatever the f%&# other spin-off corp they make up, but who's buying this? Legitimately who?
And another reason people are buying these instead of Binary's. Numerous states have made Binary's illegal yet FRT's aren't. Including soon to be the state I live in MN. In Minnesota Binary Triggers will become illegal Jan 1st, 2021. The FRT actually fully reset (hence its in the name), and Binary's don't until 2nd round (unless put back into safety). Also when I mention "safety" in the Binary Triggers (previous above post), I am mainly referring to being able to put it back into safe without having release trigger and send 2nd round. A bunch of lower priced or "DIY" Binary's cannot be put into safe effectively without sending the 2nd round. Some really bad Binary's, mainly DIY just modifying disconnectors can send the whole mag down range without your approval after 1 pull.
Who would buy these? You obviously haven't been around the gun industry very long. NFA DIAS devices sell for $5000.00 on Gunbroker. 3 position M16's sell for $20,000.00+ (and they sell quickly). Yet your bitching about something you've never used? Saying these are like Binary's is like saying a old flattop V8 is just like a LS6 Supercharged V8. Now when the FRT's where first mass produced (rare breed, not inventor or first, first to mass produce) they were $499.99, with 2 position only. They couldn't keep them in-stock. When RB started selling to dealers they lowered the retail to $399.99 (or there abouts). WOT's (RB Rip off) and Alamo's (best FRT IMO) came about and you could buy them for around $300.00-$350.00 again 2 position only. Then came along the Tommy Triggers 3 position Rare Breed Upgrade Kit. To upgrade it to 3 positions. Cost $350.00 plus you had to already own a Rare Breed Trigger. They couldn't keep them in stock. There are again (after ATF Ban removed) company's selling 3 position upgrade kits, range $280-450.00 just for upgrade kit still had to have already purchased the FRT. The only Binary that works reliably and safely (depending on your definition of safety) is Franklin Armory and retails for $386.99. Yes the old ones are on clearance right now for $249.99 at places. If not mistaken this company sells they're 2 position FRT Triggers for less than the Franklin Armory Retails for or at least have sales on them. If your literally throwing a tissy over what others decide to throw they're money at, you have no clue, or your broke. Not to mention coming out and just bashing the company and people that would buy these? Well you sound really dumb. I have owned and tested almost every Forced Reset, Super Safe, Binary Trigger made (including not so safe or reliable ones). That said I do not own the MMC/Delta/Davidson (Mormon Gun Sales I call them) FRT. But if you do the math your money ahead to buy the 3 position FRT from them at $549.99 (they never charged $999.99, highest I saw was $700.00) then to have owned a earlier FRT and purchased the 3 position kit. Not mention all of the earlier FRT companies are not producing anymore and won't give any customer service. Credit where credit is due, takes balls and a lot of legal backing (lawyers) to produce these with the current assholes in DC. Bob Private FFL Dealer, Private Range Owner
We sell these just as fast as we get them, the reason for the price is due to our high cost. Items like this can be expensive to defend if you are brought to court by a liberal garbage city. The manufacturer is making sure they can afford to defend the item's he produces. I wish I could sell them to you for $100 haha! We just sell hundreds a week and don't even make a very high margin, we just want out customers to have the change to buy one if they wish.
Not to rain on your parade but binary triggers are much more affordable these days. The only positive I see is the fact that this is a drop in so it's much easier to install. However, that's not a jusifiable reason to get this over the binary.
