Does it say somewhere that it doesn't include sigs lifetime warranty? When I opened it, it showed the warranty info under the description so I'm just curious if its final sale from opticsplanet but still covered with the warranty?
I think Sig will honor any warranty on this scope, as long as it is a manufacturing defect, even though a retailer has discounted it or has a clause about no returns (final sale). My concern was mainly this being a non-returnable open-box item, that theoretically could have been abused at the shop or returned by a previous owner. Any signs of abuse (over-torqued, scratches, nicks) will be ineligible for the Sig warranty. How did yours arrive? Any signs of wear/handling at all?
Haven't ordered one yet.....still thinking about it. When I said I opened it I meant the link..... I should've clarified that.
Do you really want to take a chance on an OPEN BOX scope (used & returned, dropped, scratched, demo, etc.) for $365, that is a "FINAL SALE", meaning no possibility for exchange or refund? I'm not that brave.
