I own 3 of these and between my buddys and I, we have have shot several thousands of rounds through each of them. No issues whatsoever. Great gun and $190 cheaper then I paid for all mine. Great price!!! Bestseen

VERY tempting, but AKOU and Battlefield Vegas tests, plus many anecdotal tales of egged out rivets, make me wary. Probably fine for the user that does a few hundred rounds a year.

Mine runs well, but I have noticed some flattening on the back of the carrier where it contacts the hammer. Not sure of the significance significance

Do your research on the above references before reaching any conclusions. For example, Battlefield Vegas states that all of their AK's suffer from damage from use. There is no statement that the N-PAP is worse than other AKs. Also, don't judge a product line because of past issues with QC. And, all rifles will fail at some point. Get informed and not fooled by vague statements like this one...

These are prehistoric prices! Get yours while they last. Right know the only real AKs out there are Yugos and Arsenals.

What about wasr's?

FYI, the bolts/certificates often do not match the serial number on the receiver.

I have started a thread here to start an exchange program so we can have matching parts!

Great rifle. Horrible retailer. Scamming folks by taking their money, and not shipping item.

Bobslob, I am quite surprised by your allegation that Firearms for Sale did not meet your expectations as a retailer. My experience with FFS was almost the exact opposite of yours.

I have purchased a number of firearms from FFS (although not the one featured above). Not too surprisingly, perhaps, some of them arrived just as was advertised, and some of them had problems. In each instance where there were problems, the folks at FFS gave me the choice of returning the firearm or working with them to solve the problem in other ways (e.g., by receiving a discount on that purchase or on the next purchase). I always chose the latter option much to my satisfaction (and, seemingly, to the satisfaction of FFS).

I bought 2 rifles like this (but with plastic not wooden stocks) about 6 months ago.

Other than shipping costs which seem strange when a lot of other places don't charge, 1 rifle came with a sloppy bolt. I didn't notice it at my FFL, which FFS basically said...good luck with it. The exact wording was: "I would send that back into Century If I was you. Since you have disassembled the gun it will be difficult for me to get a replacement form my factory." So then, I'd have to risk sending it back to Century, and with their track record of repairs, that meant I went for local gunsmithing instead. After that email and expressing my general disappointment, nothing was offered, not even an apology or future order deal or anything.

This essentially turned a decent deal at the time into the same price as anywhere else or more. I'm not sure future risk is worth it, as some things can always be missed on inspection at FFL. In the past I've always had other retailers work with me on it.

I'm sure the market is rough, but customer service is how you can stand out IMO.

I can only comment on my experiences with them. I purchased a pistol from them within the last year without problems, but they are really abusing myself and the other gentleman who purchased rifles on the 16th. I purchased 4 rifles that "more than 10 are in stock" charged my cc over $1800, and continue to hide behind "we are having problems with our supplier?!"

FYI they charge an additional $8 on top of the $12 shipping for insurance. Also they haven't shipped a rifle I ordered on the 16th and aren't answering the phone or emails.

Same here, they charged my cc over $1800 for 4 rifles on the same day.
They claim to have problems with their supplier, I don't care. I paid for 'em, get them and send 'em. 18 days later still says "awaiting shipment" on their site.
