Description

CCI Primers are continuously tested and improved. As a result today's CCI primers are more sensitive, easier to seat and more compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment than ever before. They utilize modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes for the cleanest burn possible.
Number 41 Mil-spec primers are made to the same specifications of the U.S. Military and reduce the chances of a slam-fire. While designed for you in Military-style semi-auto rifles, they use the same data as CCI magnum primers.
Note from CCI:
- Effective slam-fire prevention requires more than mil-spec primers. Headspace, chamber condition, firing pin shape and protrusion, bolt velocity, case condition and other factors can affect slam-fire potential.

  • These primers work great. The only issue I really see here is the price. Primers are literally over 2X what we use to pay before the pandemic. I will say it is nice to see these in stock even if it is a ripoff on the price. Primers are starting to show up on the shelves at the local stores as well so before long I would expect the prices to level out. I saw several boxes at Cabela's over the weekend.

Midway is trash. They will continue to take advantage of suckers as long as people have more money than brains.

70% over what the market would bear if they weren't throttling production. Gotta be a sucker to fall for this. They're gonna keep it up until all that newly printed money is in their coffers.

You've got to be kidding. I just picked up 1000 of these at my local SW for $50. NOBODY should be paying this much!

meh. My local small time reload/ffl selling for 7.5 cents. Should be 4.5 cents tops. Midway jacking prices like grab a gun and cheaper then dirt. Don’t buy unless you need for insurrection.

I understand supply and demand but I picked up 1000 CCI 450’s in November at a store in Clarksville, TN for $68.76 out the door. $99 plus hazmat plus s/h a bit steep.

If you really need them, then $100 is the max I would pay. They should be in the $60-75 range. Try not to buy anything or shoot to help drive prices down.

Over $100 with taxes, shipping, and hazmat fee. Still not as bad as it could be so hopefully the prices will come down more sooner than later.

I agree. I have seen places asking for $200+ just for the primers they had in stock, plus shipping and haz mat fee.. it is not as nice [price wise] as finding them on a shelf somewhere, but it is nice to see them/things starting to be in stock again. Hopefully the prices continue to drop over time!
