The P01 Omega is a great concealed carry handgun with a really high quality feel to it. The double action trigger is quite heavy - about 12 pounds my example but the single action trigger has a rolling break and is under 5 pounds. I picked the P01 Omega because the traditional CZ P01 decocker doesn't work well with my grip - the ergonomics of the decocker/safety on the omega guns is superior to the traditional. Additionally the P01 Omega comes with a far better rear sight. I ended up pairing the rear sight with a fiber optic front sight for a really good set of sights. One thing to be careful about is dry firing these guns - they have a roll pin in the slide and if you fire them without snap caps too much you can shatter the roll pin. Also if you just crank on double action pointing at the TV you are likely to break the trigger return spring. If you can manage to contain yourself in dry fire you'll be rewarded with an amazingly fun to shoot compact gun. It's super accurate - it's a very manageable size and looks really cool. It's convertible to a safety but I keep it as a decocker. If you load your own ammunition - be warned that CZs have very short throats so be sure to check your ammo in the barrel before hitting the range. It's a great shooting, classy carry gun.
