I have an older version of this and I can tell you they are quite a heavy, well made blade. I got mine for chopping back weeds, tree limbs and cutting back grape vines around my place. It's held up quite nicely and only requires the occasional sharpening to be effective. I've sawed thru plenty of thick vines and limbs with the serrated back. I've even used it to dig up roots and such. At this price it's great and everyone should have one. I don't think for $13 you will do any better. As I said, these are VERY heavy blades that work wonders on all sorts of vegetation and trees. This could easily chop down trees up to 6" to 8" across. My blade has never chipped or broken in any way. Of course one has to keep it Sharp and an occasional regrind they hold up well. I paid like $50 on sale for mine years ago. I'm gonna buy another here.
