Hey no prob! I saw this yesterday, but couldn't post it until now. I think these have been overlooked at Widener's because of their weird web-site. No UPC, no Mfg's name, and to find it you have to click on: "FIREARMS & PARTS", then "Rifles", then "01 FFL Type Rifles". Plus you have to register before you can add anything to your cart. Not very intuitive.

However, I've ordered from Widener's before, and everything arrives just fine, so whatev.

I think they are overlooked because of their outrageous shipping cost. I have bought from them a few times but the price has to be right to make up for the shipping.

On ammo- yeah, I hear you. But they are better on parts/guns. I got a quote on two zips- Mane and Washington state, and it wasn't more that $25 by UPS ground to each state. Widener's is in TN, so they are charging about UPS standard rates.

STAY AWAY from this Seller. He sold me one of these that was all rusted and covered with corrosion inside (receiver and barrel) and was also visible from the outside. I asked him to visually inspect the pistol prior to shipment he said he will, however, when I contacted him about this issue he refused to work with me instead just told me to contact the importer directly and there is nothing he can do. FAIL STAY AWAY.

Just a note, JG Sales only gives you one mag with this M92, where some dealers give you two mags for about the same price.

The muzzle nut can be removed. For those considering doing an SBR by adding the correct underfolder you should know that the serial number on the factory receiver will be covered and eventually obliterated by the stock. The serial cannot be moved according to the ATF. Still not a bad way to start if you want to demill it and put the parts into a Nodak M92 receiver.

Good to hear that the muzzle nut can be removed.

Does this have special threads or do you know the sizing?

It's not M24, it's M26x1.5 LH threading. You can get Krinkov style brake, fake AL suppressor cans/tube or a CNC Warrior 4 piece muzzle brake for these threads now, Detent pin & springs are also now available from seller on AK files forums.

It's probably 24mm but I can't say for sure. It's obvious larger than most and is made to use the fat "booster" brake.

Thanks. What's the difference between the M92 and this parts kit m85? https://gun.deals/product/serbian-krinkov-parts-kit-51997-after-coupon-members-only...
Is there anything special about the m85 magazines?

M85 is the 223 caliber. M92 is 7.62x39. Those parts kits don't have barrels which is an additional expense plus fitting the barrel is not easy to do.

I really want one. I just don't like the muzzle break, it says it is permanently attached... Is it like on the Draco and it can be easily removed and replaced?

The muzzle collar is easily removed by cutting the tack weld spot with a Dremel cutter wheel. Just tape up the barrel and FSB. Took me 2 mins to do.
