Anyone have this sight and care to share your thoughts and experience with this? I am considering buying one and would like to hear some opinions on it. I like the fact it has an almost iron sight looking backup sight built into it, also giving a more natural sight picture for faster acquisition and follow up shots. Thanks
Had it for little over 6 months; 1500+ rounds, on my CZ-P10C, its a decent built red dot, nice cowitness (if you have lifted sights), its pretty compact size and dot is crisp clear, comfortable to rack it, auto brightness working good as well. (Sight made in China btw).
One thing I didn't liked are the windage/elevation adjustment screws they're pretty easy to damage, like on lots of other handgun dots too.
I would defenetly recommend this one for anywhere 100$ or below.
About battery, I dont think its that significant for once a ~ 20000-25000 hours ~ change, or if you're pragmatic once a year.
From my experience, most likley you'll have to slightly adjust and retighten any sights after 300-1000+ rounds.
So one more time, its a decent built, compact size, budget option, better one of the many.
So I decided not to buy this for one reason, you have to remove the sight every time you need to change the battery. To me that's just not worth the hassle when there are several others available with a battery tray or accessible from the top. I don't like having to zero in my sight whenever I need a fresh battery.
Burris is older than I am 2nd only to Luis and beeing the only sight I would pay more than 100 for just because they can be trusted out of the box .the wife runs mag drops daily with the fastfire 3 on a 1911 45 same battery more than a year
