Currently, it's just a couple of pennies more per cartridge to get non-corrosive ammo.

Factor in the cost of extra squirts of Break-Free CLP, extra q-tips, extra patches, and extra swabs - it is uneconomical to pay this much; unless you really need surplus sealed in a tin.

Not a bad deal due to the current ban on the importation of this ammo. And this was my first order from them, but it annoys me to no end that signature is required. Monday I had a box (2 cans) dropped off from another store and didn't have to wait around all afternoon to sign for it. Widener got me twice on their data breach, so avoid them like the plague. I was happy to see Dan's was closer so lower shipping cost but loosing 1/2 day of work makes this very costly. Just a heads up on their shipping rules.

I'm on the same boat... but I asked to have it held at the UPS center and just swing by on my way into work to pick it up...

UPS Signature Required ..
Sign yourself up on the "UPS My Choice" and signature required packages can be signed for online. No more waiting for packages. My UPS driver told me about it, it works great.

Isn't there a fee with that? I'm not 100% but I think there is

I have that it's great service, lets you know ahead of time of packages are being shipped. Not perfect everyone once in a while I get an email from the shipper and add the tracking number. I tried to pre sign for it but it didn't take. Lucky the driver knows me well and signed for me as my hands were covered in diesel fuel at the time he dropped off. Didn't want his pad to smell like fuel for days. It was 1982 vintage, a very good year I hear, well hope so have 2 crates of it now. Is the number above the year the Julian date of production?

UPS center is a pain to get to due to traffic in that area and out of my way. But it's due here tomorrow, good excuse for a short Friday. Is this how they do every shipment or just the first? Thing is I much rather deal with small companies than big box stores, Bass Pro, Cabala's, Green Mountain, etc... I ordered a Nikon scope once, store did the same thing, said it was high value, said really? Sent pics of my 5 Mk 4 Leupold and 2 NightForce NSX scope boxes, said no these are and didn't have to sign for them. Not everyone can afford a big single order of ammo and take part of the day off so the ammo ends up costing even more. Is that Stang a Mach? My other hobby is cars. They seem to have a lot of overlap of fans.

Thats a Mach... I no longer have it though, but really enjoyed it when I had it... They do this to every shipment.. thats also a reason why I have it held at customer service... If i use my address its more than an address near the CS center...

Very nice guys at Dans. Bought a couple of cases for my AR. It's a shame because i liked the 5.45 because of the price point.

Same here, this WAS (underscore past tense) my cheap AR platform ammo. But, even at $.20 per round it's still cheaper than cheapest 5.56 or .223.

The key to the controlling people of the US (and the world) is control over the monetary system (search: Federal Reserve Act of 1913 & watch these two documentaries by Bill Still: Money Masters https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svly7TJMtzw... & Secret of Oz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swkq2E8mswI... ) & control over the media (watch Ruling From The Shadows - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8ERfxWouXs... ). Close your bank account at any big bank & open a credit union account, don’t support multinational corporations or wall street. Invest in physical goods like land, tools, food, firearms, etc. We the people have control, there are just too many who have been brainwashed into submission to worship of the police/nanny state & whine to politicians (who are the lapdogs of bankers & oligarchs) for a little more slack on their leash aka rights. Politicians are bought & paid for by those who seek to control the people of the world like slaves on a plantation without borders. Until we throw off the bonds of debt slavery & stop using their monetary system we will be debt slaves. END THE FED!

Something I did not know, credit unions can not charge as high interest rate on their credit cards as a bank. I encourage all my friends to join one and use their services if they can. Like when there was a chance that active duty military, retirees and government employees might not get paid on time due to congress being stupid/lazy, Navy Federal CU said they would loan the funds to the members at 0% interest and if members needed short term loans to hold them over they would provide them at a reduced interest rate. Didn't hear of any bank offering that to their customers.

You'll still be able to buy ammo, 7n6 steel core ammo is being banned from import not 5.45x39. mil slurp 7.62x39 was banned years ago, the only thing that will happen is the price is going to go up probably similar to 7.62x 39 prices...... But maybe now you can get a good deal on a 74 muh hahahaha

$440 a crate shipped for me. This is as good as it's going to get folks. Before you kill Dan's ammo for their price on this you need to shop around a bit, most places are charging $50+ more than this so even though this price wasn't a deal last week it sure is one today, & you can thank BATFE for that.

Kinda a sad day when 7n6 is considered a deal when its 244.99$ shipped.

Yes. I will hold off as i doubt it will be banned..even if it ends up being banned, a wolf 5.45x39 round still will cost about the same than a 7.62x39 from wolf.. And that is worst case scenario.. It would suck, but not that bad.

frog, your government deciding what you can buy and what you cannot buy sucks. End of story!!!

Yeah, I agree. That is not what I am saying.. What I am saying, is: don't buy this stuff at these ridiculous prices!! This was almost half the price that it is now!

unfortunately, some knucklehead with more money than brains will buy it at this price... I read an interview with the owner of Dan's and he stated that people have started buying them by the pallet!!!
