The Benchmade 165BK Sibert Mini Bushcrafter Outdoor Knife not obtrusive or uncomfortable in slacks or shorts, just convenient and well fitted to your general needsFrom the woods to backpacking or car camping, overlanding or off roading, this versatile knife can be used for many tasks. From having a fixed mechanism the blade style of this knife is drop point, it drops off the spine to the top and the tip height is typically above the center line on the blade. CPM-CruWear is the special steel used for the blade, it is an air-hardenable non-stainless tool steel that has improved toughness and wear resistance over D2 steel. The CPM- CruWear has vanadium to form extremely hard vanadium carbides for edge retention along with and tungsten and molybdenum to increase the working hardness without reducing the toughness. The handle has a great carbon fiber finish, a contemporary premium composite of thin strands of carbon tightly woven into various weave patterns, then impregnated with resin that is most commonly clear but can be color-tinted. It offers great looks and is exceptionally strong for its minimal weight. For protecting the knife from external damage a black injection molded sheath with push button release and user-configurable for scout or dangle carry is used.
