The Ballistic Advantage 10.5″ .338 ARC Hanson Barrel (Premium Black Series) is engineered for shooters running heavy .338 ARC projectiles in compact AR-15 builds, where a faster twist rate is critical for stability—especially with subsonic loads. The 1:5 twist helps maintain consistent accuracy at lower velocities, and each barrel is lapped for improved bore consistency and long-term performance.
Machined from 416R stainless steel and finished with a durable QPQ (nitride/melonite) coating, this barrel is built for corrosion resistance and hard use. It includes BA’s Hanson profile and ships with a pinned low-profile gas block for secure alignment. Premium Black Series features include a Nickel Boron-coated extended feed ramp extension for reliable cycling across setups. Hanson barrels are not designed for aftermarket piston kits.
