I purchased this pistol and only have 1 con. The mag release is going to need to be ground down in order to insert the magazine without pressing the mag release. Currently the pistol is functioning great while shooting, my local gun shop is going to take care of the issue for me but this was a first for me that I’ve ever seen in firearms. With that being said the pistol is great overall quality and would purchase again

Huh? Aluminum slide?
Oh, the guy with the mag catch, I have seen this on many 1911's. Take the catch out and radius the catch at the bottom. You will see when it is out what I mean. Quite common. Easy to fix with a small file and some different levels of sandpaper (the kind for metal, not wood).
