I will say it again, if you plan on any sort of moderate to heavy use of your AR pistol I would reconsider buying this gun. Almost everything, Including the trigger and even the hammer is plastic! The repeated use, pressures, hot and cold cycling, environmental conditions all play a role in the breakdown of the plastic parts. Warping, cracking and failure are all a risk. Why do you think that every new generation of these seem to have more metal reinforcement added each time? In today's market you can either buy, or build yourself a very lightweight AR pistol that is all metal for just a few bucks more. If you just want an AR to sit around to look at, and or something to take out of the safe once a year to pop off a few rounds then this probably would be fine. However if you train, shoot alot, and are looking for something that will last for years and years, get an all metal gun from places like BCA, Anderson, PSA, radical, and a dozen more for around the same price. I get some hate from some people about what I say on these but it is truth. Here is an excerpt from the web regarding these guns....

"Cons & Concerns:
Polymer Durability: The biggest question is the longevity of the polymer lower, hammer, and trigger, with some users worried about stress points.
Mixed Reliability: While many have no issues, some reports mention jams, especially after a few hundred rounds, suggesting inconsistent quality or sensitivity to ammo.
Trigger Feel: The polymer trigger can have a gritty feel, though it's described as having a predictable break.
Overall Verdict:
The ATI Alpha Maxx is a "you get what you pay for" firearm that excels as a fun, cheap entry into the AR platform. It's great if you understand its limitations, are prepared for potential minor issues, and view it as a base for affordable upgrades rather than a high-end, lifelong rifle. If reliability is paramount and you want something that just works without tinkering, you might consider saving for a more robust, all-metal option."
So with that said, you absolutely are entitled to your opinion and choice whether or not you want to buy one of these. I am not faulting anyone or trying to sway anyones choice to do so , It is simply fact and information.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
