I had 2 of these Armscor 38SP revolvers for years serving as my truck gun and nightstand gun at the cabin. Heavy (all steel) but fairly accurate and very reliable. This is a perfect option for someone that does not have or does not want to spend a lot of bucks on a self defense handgun that could be more easily stolen. No, its' not as accurate as a S&W M-10 or M-15 but it does not cost $500-800 either. I love the fact that many Americans can outfit themselves with such an affordable handgun that is both powerful and reliable. Armscor, along with their RIA division, has developed a great little nitch in the firearms industry and they have dozens upon dozens of firearms under their own name brand and under other name brands that Armscor manufactures for. The EAA Windicator is also another good option for a reliable and affordable 38SP handgun. It's all good as more civilians can afford and outfit themselves with these self defense weapons.
I thnk the manual says something along the lines of 'can be occasionally used for +P'
I have one and boy, is it a real pleasure to shoot. Very little recoil and first time trying it out, it was pretty damn accurate. Good finish and heft, I rubberized the grips myself for $5. Awesome value
Centerfire Systems has this revolver for $189.99. It might be more or less depending on shipping and might be worth checking out.
