The Urban Go Plate carrier package says it includes front and back level III Advanced Shooters Cut body armor and is advertised at $185, but in fact the Advanced Shooters Cut plates cost $225. $185 is for the flat plates only, which is not advertised here.

Hello, the flat plates included are our Advanced Shooters Cut. The upgrade you mention is our curved model, which is more ergonomic, and does cost more. The carrier is clearly listed as including our Advanced Shooters Cut Flat Plates in both the attribute section and item description - at the advertised price. The difference in upgrading to our curved model is unrelated to our Advanced Shooters Cut, as both our flat and form model feature this cut.

We apologize for any confusion. Full details are posted in the item description or please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions, [email protected]

This is a very deceptive ad by AR500Armor.com...pretty much bait & switch. Their ad reads:

"AR500 Armor Urban Go Plate Carrier with Body Armor & Pouches, only $185 valid through 8/12/13.
The Urban Go Plate Carrier is a complete package that's ready to go. The kit includes AR500 Armor Advanced Shooters Cut Body Armor, Universal Pistol Holster, M4 / AR15 Magazine Pouch, and a Universal Pistol Magazine Pouch."

However, when you click your link you find that it in fact does NOT include shooter's cut plates, but flat plates; and that shooter's cut plates bump the "package price" to $225.

I feel this is more than misleading. They even have a picture of the "kit" on their homepage, with the big "$185" right beside the picture of the carrier with shooter's cut plates.

I have some of these plates and they are nice plates, but this ad needs to be redone. You are not getting what is advertised for $185.

Hello, the shooters cut is actually the plates that are included in the $185 package. As noted in the drop down, you have upgrade options, such as a "curved" model which improves ergonomics. The attributes are clearly stated, and this is a significant price drop compared to what they normally sell for.

There is no intent to bait and switch here, nor have we ever, the armor selection clearly states flat plates are included with the package with upgrade options from there. Our Advanced Shooters Cut body armor is what we include in all of our packages. We apologize for any confusion.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions, [email protected]

I see what you are saying, and I was wrong in that the "Advanced Shooter's Cut" is actually a flat plate and not curved; however your ad shows (in every picture it's advertised in) the curved plates. I own the curved plates and they are very comfortable...I still feel there should be a footnote under the picture of the package denoting that optional upgrades are shown. Thank you for the reply.
