Epic fail Podavach. You produce USPS shipping numbers late Wednesday and they still haven’t left yet. So much for your shallow email attempt telling everyone they would (at a minimum) be in our hands BY Xmas. Your shipping system f’d up... Probably all those people contacting their credit card companies and declaring fraud.

Went to the web site. Searched everywhere for the $51 one. Doesn't exist even with the code. After reading some of the comments here about the long wait times and $15 for shipping......
+15 for shipping. Ukraine living in NJ producing a sweet product (if u ask me). For bench use of course, or loading up a shit ton of Mags real fast with 2 people and 4 hands!
or just buy a mag lula loader for $20 and you can actually use it at the range.

U-loader usage considers a little hand-help at the moment of loading.
My wife got me the purple one for Christmas and I love it. There are cheaper, equally functional loaders out there, but not ones that you can leave sitting on the coffee table as a talking piece. It took forever to arrive, but was worth the wait. AR mags take a little practice and it's harder topping off mags than filling empty ones, but it keeps my fingers from getting nasty and is fun to use. At $79, it's a deal.

Loaded a 1000 rounds in a fraction of time it would normally take
I have been playing around with my podavach loader and am still struggling to get it to work well. It definitely needs to be used on a level stable surface with a forceful sharp movement. Overall it is a solid loader that requires a bit of practice to use well.

I talked with the owner twice and Its been over 9 months and Im still waiting on a replacement for the Gen 1. I was told the loader was shipping out and Im still waiting on it today months later even after sending at least 5 emails with no response. I guess ill send one more for good luck......

Question, @pandore -- when you ship the rifle rack, are the pieces packed into the box flat and does this need to be assembled when it arrives?

Buyer beware! I bought the podavach loader ($75 with shipping). I received it 3 weeks later. The item does not come as pictured. The wood has been machined too much were the feed lip should rest. They ended up hastily driving a nail in this place and smothering it with glue. My ak47 & 74 mags are not secure, and are driven out with very little force. I've made attempts to contact the company and have sent pictures. They have not replied. It's BS they tried to cover up a faulty product & then shipped it anyway.

A plywood base would probably work just fine, but I am interested in the plastic looking version. In the youtube link at the bottom of the page it shows that this is the previous version. What is the story of why the wood construction was made in favor of the polymer board.

I love everything about this except the price. Here's to hoping somebody would buy 1000 of these and sell them for $55 or $60 shipped in a flat ship usps box anywhere USA!
Edit: if you go to store, it has some crazy good videos how the loader is loaded, including a side by side comparison vs hand loading. Also, it shows loading with gloves and with many different mags including magpul and the ak pmags gen 3.

I have the last generation version and it loads AR/AK 556, 300, both x39. $49.99 It is used and abused by all the folks I go to the range with and works without flaw. I've also got two of their original units (556/300blk and 7.62x39) and those continue to be used as well.
That said, I think this wooden one looks very cool. I may have to pick one up just because 'wood' :D
Placed my order 11/24/2017 no delivery yet to me as of 01/17/2018, I see they just had a delivery for 6 units on 01/17/2018, I hope that is crates. Still waiting for my delivery. I can see a delay for the last holidays and there was a hold up in customs. We'll see if mine are shipped to me as I'm only two states away and I was informed that orders were completed or orders before mine so mine should go out next, we'll see.
UPDATE: Received my loader on 1/23/2018 it was worth the wait. Works as advertised and looks good. Very light just not as compact as the LULA loaders to carry in a bag but no complaint. Great for bench loading. These look to be designed for the AK platform, ( I can't confirm AK operation as I don't own a AK but a VZ but by the youtube vids it looks to work good). but does work for the AR well. After awhile you may have to support the magazine to hold it in place as the wood may wear and there are no latch to keep in place. I can't see this being a problem though. If your patient and willing to wait for delivery when they run OOS this seems to be a good bench loader, mine was ordered during the Christmas rush and BF deals and a customs holdup,and took awhile to get here but like I said it was worth the wait. Now to look and see if it can be modified for the VZ magazines.
